The opening of a busy segment of Karcher Road in Nampa will allow additional access to Interstate 84. Traffic can go from Northside Boulevard at the Amalgamated Sugar Co. plant, turn onto Karcher, cross I-84 and then turn onto Midland Boulevard to reach West Nampa. Vehicles cannot reach Nampa-Caldwell Boulevard directly from Karcher until the new interchange opens this winter. But residents will be able to access new stores opening in the Treasure Valley Marketplace using Karcher and a soon-to-open connector road.
